Seed Preservation Rooms

The seed preservation room designed by JIUPO can be divided into short-term storage, medium-term storage and long-term storage according to storage requirement for germplasm resources, with the longest storage time up to 50+ years. The functional areas of seed preservation room is including pre-storage processing area, low temperature cold storage structure, refrigeration and dehumidification system, control system and seed rack. Pre-storage processing area is including seed acceptance room, cleaning room, fumigation room, germination room, drying room, water content determination room, packaging room and temporary storage room etc.

➤ Control System

1. Refrigerant refrigeration system with automatic regulation for cooling system

2. Widely temperature ranges from -18℃ to 25℃ with fluctuation regulated of ±0.5℃

3. Short circuit, leakage and other protection for Insulated distribution box, which equipped with galvanized steel shell

4. Programmable control system with 10-inch touch-screen, while temperature control suing PID control execution

5. SCM control system with 8-channel 12-bit AD sampling, 4-channel terminal device feedback signal, 6-channel standby terminal device for power supply, 7-channel terminal device control. Centralized intelligent control for indoor temperature parameters with high quality sensors, there is no need to with other control systems, easy for users to quickly replace and deal with faults

6. The control system is equipped with embedded Linux system, with 128G hard disk, supporting digital camera, timing photo storage, supporting TF/SD card for data storage, supporting Ethernet, supporting GUI, supporting EXT4/NFS/FAT32 format for file output

7. The temperature data is stored in the SCM control system, which can view the historical temperature records of up to one year. 8000 records, 1G memory capacity, and the records can be downloaded directly with USB storage device

- The refrigeration unit equipped with the valley wheel frozen scroll compressor, the power of compressor≥2P/1.47Kw

- R404a refrigerant for environmental protection

- Well-known branded parts for fans, magnetic valve, expansion valve, filter etc.

2. Air Cooler

- Single side air cooler with 5mm fin spacing, the capacity of heat exchange is approximate 40㎡

- 3 six-graded motors with 88W power consumption of each

- Equipped with frost function

➤ Dehumidification System

Stable dehumidification system makes the indoor humidity around 50%, smart ranges for humidity regulation according to the type of seed preservation room to ensure the safety of storage for seeds.

➤ Racks

Moveable seed storage rack with storage containers, the dimensions for the rack is D685*W600*H3500mm (for reference, it can be customized according the rooms proposal)
